Why are you best placed to consult?

With international senior leadership experience including board level, from start ups to multinationals, and partnering at CEO level either as stand alone or leading big HR teams.  I have over 15 years of successfully leading the development and execution of people strategy in support of business plans. 

I have honed my consulting skills over years of business partnering.  I like to focus on the future and the big picture and prefer non-routine, challenging tasks and activities. Commercially minded, I'm a natural problem solver. I enjoy working with SMEs as I get a strong sense of purpose from seeing the impact of my solutions.

It is my passion to enable as many businesses as possible to provide a positive employee experience for all - a win win for employees and businesses. I’m excited to have conversations with start-ups through to mature businesses looking to transform and grow.

Why the name - Your People 1st?

I passionately believe that if you look after your employees first they will do the very best for your customers. This is the secret to competitive advantage.

Through my experience it is the companies that focus on employee experience that are naturally more successful commercially.  It does not have to be a huge investment, or over gimmicky, it can be achieved by just being thoughtful and consistent in your approach.

My logo represents positive employee experience but also my style of holding the mirror up to leaders being very honest in my feedback.

What is your approach?

I work collaboratively with leadership, it is a partnership of equal investment.  I want to get to know your business, your people and your culture so that I am able to design solutions that work for you.

I solve problems with high curiosity, asking the right questions, to get to the root cause and to come up with creative solutions.  Questions that can be tough and we can work through the answers together.

People 1st does not mean Company second I have been described as "HR with Muscle" as I'm very capable to ensure the company is served within this approach.

What do you get up to when not consulting?

I'm a mum of 2 boys (9 & 11) and love family time, getting outside and exploring the world.  I capture memories with my passion for photography.

I'm an avid reader who enjoys continuously self learning. A secret IT geek, I love nothing more than leaping into learning new software - I built this website myself - don't worry I wont be giving up the day job :)
